Privacy and data handling
No account, no upload, no tracking: every calculation runs in your browser and nothing you type leaves the page. This page states the whole policy. There is no privacy team, no data request process and no stored data to request, because nothing is collected in the first place.
What the tool never collects
The calculator never asks for a driver name, a truck number, a carrier, a location or a licence number. There is no sign-up, no payment and no identifier of any kind. The only values you enter are two rest periods and, optionally, work totals since a restart.
What stays in your browser
The rule engine is plain arithmetic that runs in your browser tab. What you type stays in that tab and is discarded when you close it. Nothing is written to a server, because there is no server: the site has no backend, no database and no API key.
Where the page comes from
The page is a static bundle. The HTML, the stylesheet, the script and the two bundled typefaces all come from this domain, and the calculator keeps working with the network disconnected. The build scans the source and the published files for runtime network calls and fails if it finds one.
No tracking of any kind
There is no analytics script, no telemetry, no advertising and no third-party embed. The only external links on the site point to official FMCSA pages, and they are ordinary links you click, not requests the page makes.
Boundaries that protect you
The tool has no connection to a vehicle, a GPS receiver or an electronic logging device, and it is not an ELD, not legal advice, and not an official FMCSA compliance determination. It is a reading aid for two rest periods you type in.
The check itself needs no data at all: open the split sleeper berth calculator and type two rest periods.
