Use an explicit fixed UTC offset

Each rest period needs its own local start, end, status, and fixed UTC offset, such as UTC-05:00. Select the offset that applied to the logged period rather than relying on the phone or browser time zone. The calculator intentionally does not infer a zone, apply daylight-saving rules, or guess an unanswered field. A missing, malformed, overlapping, or ambiguous period returns insufficient information instead of a verdict.

Save, reopen, and delete on iPhone

The native app does not auto-save. After a result is shown, enter an optional name and tap Save this scenario to write that scenario locally on that iPhone. Open Saved, tap a row to reopen it in Calculate, and use Delete to remove that row. Saved scenarios are a local Codable JSON file in the app sandbox; the website and the app do not share storage, and nothing is uploaded or synced.

What this product does and does not do

The website and app calculate locally, without an account, login, backend, cloud sync, analytics, telemetry, ads, payment, GPS, location feature, vehicle connection, or ELD connection. They do not make an official, legal, or compliance determination. This is not an ELD or legal advice, and it does not decide a complete duty log, exemptions, weekly limits, or all circumstances around a drive.
